Many congratulations are in order for our wonderful WOW staff!

Ms. Amy & Ms. Kristen have both completed their master's degrees! Kristen will begin work on a secondary one. Ms. Kelli was accepted into UT's nursing program.We are very fortunate to have such accomplished ladies working with our children.

The school year is drawing near the end, & many of our families will be moving on to the "big school'.We appreciate you sharing your children with us, & we will miss you very much. Some of you have been here since the beginning, 10 years ago!

The last day of school for those not re-enrolled will be on May  25th. We will have a short break to regroup, & then school will resume on June 4th.

Keep applying the sunscreen & insect repellent. Summer is in full swing!

Spring has definately sprung! We have wild weather, kids with allergies, & lots of bugs!

Keeping this in mind, make sure to apply sunscreen & insect repellent BEFORE you come to school. This is the time of year we like to take full advantage of the nice weather to do some extra outdoor activities. However, this is not much fun if you are sunburned & eaten up by bugs.

Make sure to change the extra clothing in your backpack to something seasonal as well.

Many of our friends do not have utensils with their lunch. It is hard to eat applesauce with your fingers! Make sure to send something to eat it with. We have completely run out of the plasticware that was donated. Also, if you would like your child to have water, please send a cup. Many of our friends have had a drink for lunch, but nothing for snack.

Remember to check the events calendar, not your class page for school closings & events.

The annual Spring Fling Egg Hunt will be on Thursday, March 29 From 3:30-5:00 at Christia Adair Park Pavillion #2 off of Cullen Rd. near the Beltway. Check your class page for specific times for your class. The hunt is for WOW students only.

Dress the kiddos in layers. The weather is so unpredictable. Please label all clothing, we have quite a collection of unclaimed belongings. Give us a shout if you are missing anything!

No school March 12-16 for Spring Break.

Please send utensils with lunch. We do not have any at school to provide.

We are working out the details of the annual WOW Spring Fling Egg Hunt. Still trying to confirm the reservation of the park. You will receive an email with full details as soon as we get confirmation.

In an effort to ensure your child's safety, the WOW staff has attended an on premis training for fire safety. We each got to put out real fires in a controlled burn. Check out the photos in the Croc room!

The staff will also be attending the HAAEYC conference on the 3rd. This is an 8 hour conference to help keep us up to par with the newest educational tools so that we can pass them on to our little guys!
